I've lived in New York for four years and worked with five different agents - Shiri Rahamim of Highline is BY FAR the best agent and best experience with a brokerage I've ever had. She has access to a HUGE variety of off-market listings, particularly in West Village, and she's EXTREMELY receptive to your specific needs and desires as a potential buyer or renter. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to Shiri Rahamim. I began helping my daughter look for a place in NYC in early October and had NO idea how difficult it would be. After many disappointments (and real estate agents), in late January I came across Shiri. Within 10 days of working with her, we signed a lease in our most desired location-West Village. Not only did she find my daughter the perfect location, the apartment had everything she had been searching for. So what made the difference? Shiri did!! Shiri truly cared about getting my daughter a place that worked within her budget but also had everything in an apartment she was searching for. She networked directly with management companies, which made it possible to have my daughter’s application submitted first. Shiri communicated daily with us to provide updates and not only was she extremely knowledgeable and professional, she was reassuring and positive. When others had told us to lower our expectations, Shiri encouraged us to stick to them. Without reservation, I highly recommend Shiri Rahamim. If family or friends are ever in need of an agent, I will insist that they use Shiri. She makes you feel like you are working with a close friend who has your best interests at heart. Shiri was great! After showing my roommate and I one apartment she knew exactly what we were looking for and didn't waste our time with apartments that weren't for us. Shiri was great to work with and I would highly recommend her, especially if you are interested in apartments in the West Village or the East Village. She was responsive to e-mails ,texts and calls and was there for me througout every step of the process, which was very helpful as it was my first time resting on my own.
