This sturdy pre war was built as an apartment building in the 1920s and converted to lofts in the early aughts as the passion project of its new owner, a perfectionist who undertook a renovation that merged intelligent design with a strong personal aesthetic. Full of unique details all brought to an exacting level of finish with its main themes of masonry, steel, and hardwood, 425 Keap St harkens back to its earlier days as a product of 1920s affluence, with a contemporary design twist. Despite its rugged good looks, 425 Keap Street was never a factory; since its construction in the 1920s it has always been a residence for the more discerning set of Brooklynites.

The location, centrally situated in Williamsburg, is near some of the best shopping and dining in the city, while still painting a quiet, neighborhood feeling. As for transportation, a 4 minute walk brings you to Metropolitan Avenue for the G or L, 8 minutes gets you to Marcy Avenue for the JMZ, or 10 minutes by car takes you over the Williamsburg Bridge. Pets are ok, both dogs and cats, however there is a $750 non-refundable pet fee. Altogether, there is no place like it in Brooklyn, providing an unparalleled experience to those lucky enough to live here.
