I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the remarkable real estate experience that my family and I had with two of your agents, Brooke Wadhwani and Lynn Goeller. We met Brooke and Lynn at an Open House at their listing in Garden City in April of 2016. My wife and I had been to several Open Houses as we were beginning our new home search in Nassau County. We were so impressed with their level of enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism. That home did not work for our family, but, we knew that "Brookelynn" would be the agents that we would want to work with during the daunting process of finding a home and listing ours. Brooke and Lynn kept in touch with us constantly discussing possible homes that would fit our family's criteria. We were not town or school district driven at the time. That contributed to the vast search covering several locations. The search for our next home ended when we saw a totally renovated home perched on a hill in Roslyn Harbor. We loved the home but it was beyond our price range of affordability. Luckily, there was a price reduction. Then Lynn and Brooke tirelessly negotiated with the listing agent. We soon learned that our offer was accepted! We were astonished and delighted. Then we had to immediately get our home on the market and sold. Our home would have to be sold in order for us to purchase another property. We needed their expertise with pricing our home and developing a marketing plan to optimize it's potential to sell as high as possible. Lynn and Brooke performed a careful market analysis providing us with a realistic expectation on the sale price of the home. They gave us a punch list of repairs and suggestions to get our home ready for sale. When the time came to put our home on the market they staged every room down to the last detail to make it picture perfect. Needless to say we were so delighted with the quality of the photos and our online presence. Our home went on the market and we had multiple offers immediately with various amounts and terms. Lynn and Brooke helped us to navigate through them all to choose the mist qualified buyer to have the deal close. They skillfully negotiated our $829,000 asking price to $880,000! We never imagined that we would get over $50,000 above our list price. We were under contract in about two weeks. Wow. There were several trials and tribulations during the course of the listing concerning issues with the Town Of N. Hempstead. We also had to resolve a fence issue days before the closing. Brooke and Lynn were relentless assisting with all the matters that needed to be dealt with. They were able to mediate all issues that needed to be dealt with expertise and urgency. Even the day of our closing was a challenge. We needed to close on our sale to purchase our new home. The bank attorney informed us the night before the closing that he could not attend the closing on Friday. Lynn, Brooke, and our referred attorney moved heaven and earth to get a substitute attorney to come and then do a simultaneous closing. My family and I are so impressed with and thankful for everything that Lynn and Brooke did to help us find our dream home at 25 Egil Court in Roslyn Harbor and sell our home at 438 Old Courthouse Road in Manhasset Hills. We wholeheartedly would recommend them to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home. Buying and selling a home can be very stressful.
