It is rare that I write a review but in the case of Tyshawn Brathwaite I decided to take a moment to shared my experience as I sit in my new beautiful apartment with a high ceiling and wooden floor. When I decided to look for an apartment... I thought I could do it on my own. Finding an apartment couldn't be that difficult I thought. Well little did I know and quickly learned I needed help if I wanted to find something within my price range that would meet all of my expectations such as ... close to transportation, local supermarket, laundromat, clean diverse welcoming building, pet friendly and is safe... When I tell you I walked every neighborhood in Brooklyn, made countless calls and knocked on many doors that would be an understatement. I almost gave up and decided to give it one more try. While skimming through multiple websites on my hunt/quest to find an apartment while leaving multiple messages for someone to return my call ..... Tyshawn was the only one to reach out to me in person with his friendly kind way. Tyshawn approach was so welcoming and kind. Although I felt defeated Tyshawn assured me he would find me a place that I would love that I could afford. Tyshawn accommodated my work schedule meeting me at different times and locations. I was on a mission I was set on a certain look and would not deviate.... I knew what I wanted or at least I thought I knew what I wanted until one day he said I have an apartment you should look at... I was opposed as it was different from my original request. Because Tyshawn was willing to work with me I decided to look as per his request. As soon as I entered the lobby I knew this was my new home. I thought if the lobby looks like this I can't wait to see the apartment. As we walked up the stairs and entered I said immediately this was my new home. I begged him not to show the apartment to anyone else and lets start the process. From our first encounter to my move in date it was a little over 1 month. Tyshawn went through the entire process with me assisting me along with way. I can remember when the keys was put in my hands. It was a proud moment. I wasn't a client to him I was someone looking for a place to live... I often tell my friends let me know when you are ready to move because I have a guy for you. Five stars would not do justice to the absolutely adroit skill Tyshawn possesses as an agent, or to the magnanimous and selfless character he has a person. I was linked to Tyshawn while I was attempting to escape a compromising housing situation. He showed me places with one set of roommates in early September 2019, and when those roommates bailed and decided to remain entrenched in the compromising situation, he proceeded to hold my top choice open while I found new roommates to visit with. Throughout the two month process, he must have shown me the place (along with different configurations of potential housemates) at least six times. First off, *please* try not to put this tremendous soul through the ordeal that I did, because Tyshawn is deserving of every swift and sweeping success in his corner of the real estate world. Nonetheless, during this long and arduous process, I was continually stunned by his stamina, his cleverness and resourcefulness in coming up with options for us, and the integrity and honestly with which he treated me as a client. He could have easily dropped the ball on our arrangement or allowed someone else to close in on the apartment because they might have been a more convenient or quicker sell. But he did not — he stood his ground and ever-so-patiently waited for my cue, because he kept the faith that my security and well-being was well worth the investment of his time and resources. Tyshawn demonstrated all the marks of a dedicated and reliable professional throughout our process. But more importantly he exhibited unwavering compassion as a human being. Needless to say, as a provider of service in the highly competitive and pressurized NYC housing market, Tyshawn is world-class. If he is your agent, you are in the best of hands.

Tyshawn was an excellent broker, listening to what we required in an apartment and carefully considering our needs in showing us a place. For that reason, we found the perfect spot and one month later, we love it more than ever!! Thank you Tyshawn!!!

I'm so blessed to have worked with Tyshawn. In the past, I have had brokers talk down to me, show me apartments I couldn't afford, etc. Not Tyshawn! From the beginning, he listened to my needs. I felt like he treated my time with respect because he only showed me places that fit my needs. When I found my new home and had to do a bit of haggling with the landlord, Tyshawn kept on it, even when I felt like giving up. Because of his persistence, I am now living in a place that suits all my needs and was under my budget. Also, after I signed my lease, he checked in with me several times to make sure I got everything I needed from my landlord and was satisfied. I can't thank him enough for his professional and personable behavior while working with me.

Tyshawn really found the best apartment for us, and went out of his way to match our needs and requests to the ideal apartment. In addition, it was always easy to get ahold of him, even on weekends and nights, and he made the application process incredibly easy and straightforward. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a place.
